Catherine has more than 22 years experience in senior portfolio management, executive and directorship roles within financial services. Her career has been focused in the areas of fund management, credit and portfolio management, treasury and risk. This included being CEO of two fund management companies as well as CEO of a European bank’s Irish subsidiary. For almost 14 years Catherine managed a EUR 1.5billion diversified debt capital markets portfolio. She oversaw the bank subsidiary’s treasury function including all funding, currency and interest rate hedging requirements and established successful commercial paper programmes. Catherine has previously been approved by the Central Bank of Ireland as a PCF-1 (executive director), PCF-2 (non-executive director), PCF–8 (CEO) and PCF-39 (designated person). She has been a director of fund management companies as well as various UCITS and alternative fund structures. Catherine was chairperson of the Irish Funds Investment Risk Working Group for over four years and has been a member of the Irish Funds Asset Management Steering Group.

Derek Delaney is Global Chief Executive Officer at Waystone where he leads Partners, Managing Directors and its 500+ employees spanning fourteen global operations. In a distinguished career spanning over a decade at Waystone, Derek’s proven leadership skills and expertise in strategic planning, product development, project management, and financial planning have been instrumental in propelling Waystone to global leadership in fund governance and helping to grow its client base with assets under management to over U$1Tn. Derek has extensive experience in UCITS, Non-UCITS, alternative investment vehicles and private equity structures. Derek began his career as a Fund Accountant at International Fund Services Ltd., working out of both its Ireland and New York offices. Derek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and Accountancy from Waterford Institute of Technology. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (M.Inst.D) and a member of the Irish Funds Industry Association (Irish Funds). Prior to moving into Product Management, Derek served as the European and Asian Head of AIS Client Services where he oversaw the service of all alternative clients and led the project management of all new business. In this role, he managed teams in multiple jurisdictions including Asia, Luxembourg and Dublin.

Jack is an experienced professional with over 15 years working in finance, risk management and sustainability with corporates and financial services companies. He has experience in portfolio management, real estate, risk management, internal controls and sustainability. He currently works for MUFG as a product development director and is supporting the development of sustainability solutions. He previously worked at Deloitte leading the sustainability reporting and assurance team. Jack is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, holds a degree in Business and Finance and is certified in a number of sustainability reporting frameworks.

Eimear Cowhey is an experienced non-executive independent chairman, director and committee member of various investment fund, investment management and MiFID companies in Ireland, England and Luxembourg. In her executive life she held senior executive and board positions within the Pioneer Amundi Group, including Global Head of Product Development and Invesco Asset Management including Managing Director and Global Fund Director. Eimear is a qualified Irish lawyer with a Diploma in Company Direction IoD (London) and is in the course of achieving Chartered Director status. Eimear was a member of the Committee on Collective Investment Governance (CCIG) which was established by the Central Bank of Ireland in December 2013 and which issued an expert report in July 2014 on recommendations for good governance practice for investment funds. She is a former Chairperson and Council member of Irish Funds and is a former member of the IFSC Funds Group a joint government/industry group to advise the government of investment fund related matters. She is a founder and director of basis.point which is the Irish investment fund industry charity supporting educational programmes for disadvantaged children and which has raised over €3 million since establishment.

Gordon D’Arcy, from Wexford, Ireland, is Ireland’s longest serving rugby player with an international career that spanned a ‘mere’ 15 years and 304 days – surpassing that of the great Mike Gibson by 176 days. A stalwart of the Leinster Rugby team, Gordon lined out 257 times to become their most capped player (including 104 European Cup matches), scoring 60 tries for the blues along the way. He has represented Ireland on 84 occasions, winning three Triple Crowns, one Six Nations Championship and was also an integral part of the 2009 Grand Slam winning team. He won Player of the Tournament in both 2004 & 2007, was nominated for World Player of the Year in 2004 and also toured twice with the British & Irish Lions, in 2005 & 2009 (winning a cap against Argentina in 2009). Off the field, Gordon is building a reputation for his unique insight and tales of his experiences in rugby, particularly around the development of the envied Leinster Rugby culture and the incorporation of sports psychology & mental preparation into the modern game.

She is a member of the Irish Funds ESG Policy Legal and Regulatory Working Group and has previously lectured in Financial Services Law in TCD.

Chris has worked in the Funds industry for over 15 years in audit, consulting and operations. Prior to joining Sanne, in 2020, he was Chief of Staff to KPMG’s Global Head of FinTech and COO for KPMG UK’s Blockchain practice.

Eoin joined KBI in 1988, and since 2014 has held the position of Head of Responsible Investing, overseeing the firm’s approach to responsible investing and sustainability. He is an active member of the Irish sustainable investing community, and chairs the CDP Network in Ireland, as well as being a member of the steering committee of Sustainable Investing Ireland and the ESG Committee of the Irish Association of Investment Managers . He is also a member of various international working groups on aspects of sustainable finance, including the Institutional Investor Group on Climate Change’s Paris Aligned Investing Initiative and the PRI Taxonomy Practitioners Group. KBI Global Investors is based in Ireland, with a global client base, and specialises in sustainable equities including a number of sustainability-themed strategies such as Water, Energy Transition, Circular Economy and Sustainable Infrastructure.

Bernard is an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) and is approved by the Central Bank of Ireland as Chairman of the Board, INED and Chairman of the Risk Committee. He serves on the boards of Fund Service Providers, Fund Management Companies and Investment Funds. His 30 year career in international banking with Citigroup is complemented by an 18-month Public Sector CEO role. He is a past council member (10 Years) and Chairman of Irish Funds; and currently chairs the INED Governance Working Group of Irish Funds. In a voluntary capacity Bernard is Chairman of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Commission of World Triathlon and Vice President of Triathlon Ireland.

Prior to this Aoife held a variety of HR related roles in Morgan Stanley London and Pepper Money Dublin. Aoife holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics and Social Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics. She is a member of the firm’s securities services Executive Committee and also sits on the Irish Funds Talent and Skills working group.

Alan is a qualified coaching psychologist and a founding member of the Society for Coaching Psychology within the British Psychological Society. He is also a recognised professional member and accredited sport psychologist by the Irish Institute of Sport where he works with high performance elite athletes. He is a highly experienced and accredited facilitator who works with a large number of blue chip organisations, facilitating leadership and team development programmes as well as delivering individual executive coaching.

Fiona has worked in the financial services industry for 25 years & has been with BNY Mellon, in a variety of roles spanning Custody, Depository & Fund Administration, for 16 years. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics & French from NUI Maynooth, became a fellow of ACCA in 2009 (FCCA) & obtained her designation as Certified Investment Fund Director from the CIFD Institute in September 2016. Fiona has been an active member of various Irish Funds working groups including their Legal & Regulatory, MIFID II, Outsourcing and Regulatory Reporting working groups & is currently part of the Distribution Regulation working group.

Rakesh joined Carne in 2017 and is responsible for risk & operations for their UK business, he is also part of their global risk function. He joined Carne from Grosvenor, the London based the real estate group where he led the operational function in their real estate securities business. Prior to this Rakesh worked at AKO Capital where he was responsible for the operations and finance functions. Previously to that, he held Chief Operating Officer roles at London based alternative managers Dickson Capital and Wolf Rock Capital. Rakesh holds a master’s degree in International Management and Finance from the University of Bradford. He is an ACCA affiliate member.

Her diverse background includes strategy, communications, marketing, regulatory engagement, commercial law, and the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions. After relocating to Ireland in 2015, Amor was Head of Blockchain for Citibank’s Treasury and Trade Solutions Group. Most recently, Amor was responsible for Coinbase’s operations across the Irish-based crypto and custody businesses, serving a global customer base.
